Before you merge

Select the PDFs in the same order you want them to appear in the final document. Put cover pages, forms, certificates, invoices, or statements first, then add supporting pages behind them. If a file appears in the wrong position, remove it and choose the files again in the correct sequence.

After download

Open the merged PDF before sending it. Check the first page, last page, page count, readable scans, signatures, stamps, and any form fields. For official uploads, keep the original PDFs until the portal or recipient confirms the combined file was accepted.

Merge PDF turns 2 to 10 PDF files and an output filename into a downloadable PDF file through the ordered PDF page combination workflow. The selected files are uploaded and their pages are combined on the server.

Merge PDF accepts PDF files only and requires between 2 and 10 files in one request. Each uploaded PDF can be up to 12 MB.

Merge PDF output and page order

The server writes one new PDF. Its pages consist of all pages from the first selected file, followed by all pages from each later selected file. Merge PDF uses the order supplied by the browser file selection. The current interface has no drag-to-reorder control; to change order, remove the selection and choose the files again.

Merge PDF file size and image quality

Merge PDF does not expose or apply a compression-quality setting. It combines imported pages rather than targeting an output size. Merge PDF does not rasterize pages or offer an image-quality slider, but the newly written PDF must still be visually compared with every source.

What Merge PDF may not preserve

Merge PDF creates a new PDF from the visible content of each page. When using Merge PDF, interactive forms, comments, bookmarks, attachments, document information, links, and digital signatures may not be kept. Always open and check the PDF created by Merge PDF before using it.
