AVIF to JPG Converter

AVIF to JPG accepts image/avif, .avif. AVIF to JPG produces JPG.

For AVIF to JPG, jPEG cannot store alpha transparency. For AVIF to JPG, this implementation fills transparent pixels with white unless a single-format page exposes and submits another background color.

For AVIF to JPG, lossy output quality is passed to the browser canvas encoder, or clamped to 10–100 by the HEIC server path. For AVIF to JPG, pNG canvas output ignores the lossy quality argument. For AVIF to JPG, the setting is not a target file size.

For AVIF to JPG, browser image paths draw decoded pixels to canvas and encode a new file. For AVIF to JPG, the code does not copy EXIF, GPS, IPTC, XMP, original filenames, animation frames, or other source metadata into the canvas output.

For AVIF to JPG, success depends on the current browser being able to decode the selected source format and encode the requested canvas MIME type. For AVIF to JPG, unsupported AVIF or WebP codecs can cause loading or output-type failure.

AVIF to JPG enforced limits: Quality control: 10–100 for non-PNG output; One source image matching the page accept list The browser paths declare no application-level byte limit. For AVIF to JPG, browser memory, maximum canvas dimensions, and device resources can still prevent large images from completing.

For AVIF to JPG, the selected file is read and re-encoded in the browser; this page code does not upload it to the application server.
